Who doesn't like to sit on the beach and watch the waves come in? I grew up in the midwest (no oceans there in case you're wondering), and I have become fascinated with how the same beach will look different every time I go. There are so many things that influence what the water looks like, where the waves break, the color of the water, the size of the waves...Photography gives me the opportunity to really examine each stage of the waves coming in. This might not be a big wave, but I love how you can really see the tide action here as it pulls the sand out into the water. This image is printed on professional photo paper (I print my own), and professionally matted and framed in a handmade, hand-rubbed hard maple frame.
